Rainbow Bridge Memorials – K9 Family

Welcome to our Memorials pages, where all our beloved furbabies can be remembered with love.

These beautiful souls are all dogs which have lived as Sanctuary Dogs with K9 Crusaders. Many have been neglected, abused or mismanaged to an extent where they needed the security and stability that the kennels provide. They are all our K9 Family and have a very special place in our hearts.

RIP EINAR
We are immensely sad to have to share the news that dear little Einar has left us.
Einar (his name means Warrior), who had fought so bravely, took a serious downturn a few days ago.
He had been holding his own, and enjoying a degree of normal doggy life with his wonderful foster carer. He had become part of her family, accepted and adored by humans and animals alike.
She immediately took him to our vet, who admitted him. Tests showed his liver had failed, and he was starting to suffer.
After saying his last goodbyes to those who had cared for him and loved him as their own, he made his last journey in the arms of his heartbroken foster carer.
It’s no understatement to say it has hit us hard.
We feel privileged to have met this amazing little dog. I’m sorry we couldn’t save you, Einar, we all tried so hard. If love could have saved you….
Sleep well, brave lad. You really were a little warrior.
